Final excursion of our pre-vocational training group to Trier

A report by our participants Abigail Brands and Thomas De Salve.

On Tuesday, we all went to Trier together to celebrate the end of a wonderful year of vocational preparation. First we went to the Bitburger Wirtshaus to have a cosy brunch together. There, a delicate buffet full of delicious food awaited us, with something for every taste.

Afterwards, we went to St. Paul's Church, where we visited an impressive experience show. The show called "The Last Battle for Rome" told the story of the fall of the Roman Empire in a humorous and exciting way through the eyes of the fictional Germanic protagonist "Miro".

Afterwards, we split up into groups and had the rest of the time at our disposal. We used it to explore the beautiful city, visit sights, but also to go to shops.

At the end we all met in front of the impressive Porta Nigra, from where we walked back to the bus station to start our journey home.

The excursion was an unforgettable experience for us and a perfect conclusion of our pre-vocational training course 2021/22.
