Our former apprentice Jana Stolz, who passed her final examination as a carpenter this summer, was entered by the West Eifel Carpenters' Guild to take part in the competition "Die Gute Form".

The competition "Die Gute Form" is organized annually by the state guild association of the carpentry trade under the patronage of the President of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament. It is a competition for particularly creative and imaginative journeyman's pieces by the best journeymen of the year from the carpenters' or joiners' guild. Ms. Stolz had built an original carving box from American walnut with great attention to detail and filigree craftsmanship (see photos).

We are very proud of Jana Stolz and are keeping our fingers crossed for her in the competition!
